Business Rules for Non-Deposit-Taking Non-Bank Financial Institutions

Business Rules for Non-Deposit-Taking Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) of 2000, issued by the Bank of Ghana (BOG), are applicable to licensed institutions not taking deposits from the public.
These rules cover the following topics:
- Permitted business;
- Capital and solvency requirements;
- Restrictions on lending and investment;
- Portfolio management norms related to business finance, micro and small business loans and asset-based finance;
- Corporate governance and management; and
