Business Rules for Deposit-Taking Non-Bank Financial Institutions – OLD VERSION

Business Rules for Deposit-Taking Non-Bank Financial Institutions of 2000, issued by the Bank of Ghana under the old Non-Bank Financial Institutions Act No. 774 of 1993, are applicable to licensed institutions accepting deposits. Note that new regulations have yet to be issued under the newer Non-Bank Financial Institutions Act No. 774 of 2008.

- Portfolio management norms related to business finance, micro and small business loans and asset-based finance;
