Banking Companies (Amendment) Act No. 25

The Banking Companies (Amendment) Act of 1995 amends the Banking Companies Act of 1991 in Bangladesh, which can be found under “Related Laws/Regulations”. Among other amendments, this act provides for amendments to the following aspects of banking law:

  • Risk capital;
  • Restrictions on acquisition of shares of banks;
  • Chief executive officers; and
  • Auditors.
