There are a number of employment opportunities at BU Central. Whether you are looking to dedicate a year, a semester, or just a summer, we might have a job for you. Compensation levels are dependent on prior experience, and are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Job Opportunities


General Manager

Brandon Epstein

The General Manager (GM) is responsible executing the overall mission of BU Central. Along with a full-time professional staff member in the Student Activities Office, the GM leads a team of five managers, ten student employees, and countless volunteers in the day-to-day operations of the venue. S/he is also responsible for strategic planning, and works closely with the professional staff in achieving short-term and long-term goals.

Public Relations Manager

Justin Monestime

The Public Relations Manager (PRM) is responsible for the development and implementation of the BU Central brand, and ensuring our public impression is constantly in line with our core standards. S/he also leads the BU Central Marketing Team in developing marketing and advertising campaigns in order to spread the word about upcoming events and BU Central as a whole.

Programming Manager

Michael Wurth

The Programming Manager (PM) is responsible for researching and booking talent for BU Central on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. S/he contacts agents and does initial negotiations for talent contracts. The PM is also responsible for coordinating day-of-show logistics with the talent and the venue staff.

Summer Intern

The Summer Intern is responsible for researching and booking talent, specifically for the fall semester. She/he works closely with the General Manager and the Student Activities staff in executing new student orientation, and various summer projects.
