Studying Languages in Brussels

Brussels’ position as the capital of Europe gives Anglophone students the opportunity to learn and practice whichever European language they wish. BU maintains a strong relationship with the Centrum voor Volwassenenonderwijs KHNB (Center for Adult Education—language section), whose facilities are located conveniently close to BU’s  Brussels campus.

Students may enter a language program of study at two points in the academic year: September and February. A period of pre-screening ensures that students are placed at the correct level, according to aptitude. The CVO-KHNB is highly regarded and a cost-effective way of learning a new language. Knowledge of European languages will provide strong support to students looking to work within the international arena.
