Graduate Diploma in FinanceThe Graduate Diploma in Finance provides an overview of finance and accounting basics and moves into the more complex issues of investments. Studying with motivated peers and leading industry professionals, students examine financial markets and institutions from an international perspective, focusing on multinational commerce and trade, and gaining a complete understanding of the economic impact of global markets and the financial services industry. Students may pursue the diploma as either non-degree or degree students. A non-degree student who applies for admission as a degree candidate may apply credits earned in the diploma program towards a master's program. Program RequirementsPrerequisites All students in the Graduate Diploma in Finance must demonstrate
proficient mathematical skills for management. All students are
required to take MET
OM 500B Introduction to Quantitative Management In addition, international students are required to take MET AD 501 Business Communications for International Students (4 credits) during their first semester, unless they can demonstrate fluent written and oral English skills by passing the waiver exam, or have worked or studied in an English-speaking country for at least two years. In addition to satisfying the prerequisites, six 4-credit courses, for a total of 24 credits, are required. Core Courses MET AC 630B
