What's Hot on the Web

Last year's stock market growth may have been disappointing, but it was a remarkable year for growth on the BU Web. To date, about 50,000 pages have been added, for a total online content of more than 180,000 pages. Some recent additions to the Web include:

www.bu.edu/eng/irb -- Meet ENG students and faculty in a video overview of the College of Engineering, with links to career and academic information, as well as the college's research initiatives.

management.bu.edu -- Designed by Razorfish, this new site incorporates many of the latest Web design techniques to showcase the School of Management.

www.bu.edu/chemistry/ -- Professional profiles of each College of Arts and Sciences chemistry faculty member appear here as well as answers to everyday questions in Chemistry Day by Day.

www.bu.edu/abroad/ -- For BU students who are interested in study overseas, this site features programs in 15 countries, ranging from Australia to Niger, through the Office of International Programs.

www.bu.edu/community -- Learn about the University's involvement in the greater Boston community, and watch videos of BU's recent ads on WBZ-TV.

www.bu.edu/visitor/ -- This virtual visitor center includes an interactive map of BU, a self-directed campus tour, and postcards to e-mail to friends.

www.bu.edu/president/ -- Launched in late January, the President's Office Web site includes information on research, major accomplishments, and videos of recent speeches by President Jon Westling.

"What's Hot on the Web" is compiled by Joel Seligman, director of strategic communications in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
