JOHN SHEA is a former Huntington Theatre Playwrighting Fellow. His play Erin Go Bragh-less (National Playwrights Conference, Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center) is part of a trilogy of plays that includes The Hill (Boston University’s New Play Initiative) and Claire Silva (Huntington Theatre’s Breaking Ground Festival, as well as Williamstown Theatre Festival’s Fridays @ 3 series). Other works include Comp (Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, London’s Tristan Bates Theatre Company), Junkie (commissioned by the Stanford Calderwood Fund for New American Plays), Faces of the Dead, The Painter, and Aberdeen. Shea’s works have been published by Smith & Kraus in their Monologues for Actors series and the Boston Theater Marathon XI anthology.
