“One of the key challenges facing rehabilitation researchers is the selection of optimal outcome measures.” -Alan Jette, PT, PhD, Co-Director, Boston ROC
The Boston Rehabilitation Outcomes Measurement center (Boston ROC) is a rehabilitation research infrastructure center dedicated to advancing rehabilitation research by improving rehabilitation outcome measurement.
The Boston ROC Network is a collaboration among researchers with specialized expertise in rehabilitation outcome measurement in the following areas:
- The Patient/Clinician Reported Outcomes Core is located at Boston University
- The Performance-Based Measures Core is located at Tufts University
- The Instrumented Outcome Measures is located at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital
The Boston ROC offers research consultation to help researchers select and use the optimal outcome measures for their studies. We also offer training, funding for pilot studies, and a visiting scientist program.
