The second annual Boston University Hollywood Comedy Showcase: Comedy in a Digital Age featured host Jason Alexander (CFA’81, Hon.'95), as well as comics Bruce Fine (SMG’88), Jeff Ross (COM’87), and Courtney Cronin (CFA’96). The event, a benefit for the BU in L.A. Acting in Hollywood Scholarship Fund, was held on February 24 at the Hollywood Improv.
The first Boston University Los Angeles Honored Alumni Award was presented to actress Emily Deschanel (CFA'98), star of Fox TV’s Bones. The Comedy Showcase was sponsored by AJA Video Systems, Inc., Adobe Systems, Inc., and DV411, Inc., along with others who also sponsored last year’s sold-out event.

Robert Shampain! I was just thinking about you when I stumbled onto this page and decided to watch the video - since I am a B.U. alum (School of Education). I spent 5 years in New York City with my daughter Anna and we have now returned to the great Northwest... Look us up when you have a chance. Hugs, Arlene

Was a great show similar to 2008. Hopefully will be a yearly event!
