General Information

The Biology Media Center has a slide scanner for scanning of ektachrome slides.  Slides are scanned by Media center personnel and high resolution images are returned on CD or DVD.

UMAX PowerLook 180 (Slide Scanning)

This is a high resolution slide scanner. If you need slides scanned, please make an appointment. The typical slide takes 1-3 minutes to scan. You will need a usb, or blank CD-R to store scanned files.

High Resolution Scanning (EM Film, high quality photos)

The Media center in conjuction with Proteomics and Imaging Core Facilty have an AGFA Duo-scan EM negative scanner. This flatbed scanner is high resolution and can do transmitted light scanning. Training and access to this scanner can be arranged with Dr Blute.
