Combined BA/MA
BA in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
and MA in Biotechnology
Eligible Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BMB) majors may apply during their junior year for a combined program leading to both an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a master’s degree in Biotechnology. This program requires six advanced-level courses in addition to requirements for the BA and includes two semesters of graduate-level independent research and submission of a research paper. Students typically complete the combined BA/MA program in five years and are well prepared for further graduate study or research positions in the biomedical sciences.
For a more detailed listing of courses and requirements for this interdisciplinary degree program, visit the BU Bulletin website.
