2024 Graduating Seniors Need To:
- Fill out the Intent to Graduate form – if you haven’t already, you must fill out the Intent to Graduate form on CAS Advising’s website A.S.A.P.
- Purchase Regalia It is highly recommended that all orders are placed immediately, especially for international shipments. Orders placed before April 1 will receive free domestic standard shipping. BA/MS students should order Master’s regalia.
- Request accommodations for guests, like accessible seating (April 1 – May 12) if applicable.
- Take the Senior Survey – the Department wants to hear from you! Enter to win one of twelve (12) $50 Visa gift cards.
- Attend a Prep Meeting – we will review the ceremony procedures and practice your name pronunciation at this mandatory meeting. You MUST attend one:

Biology Convocation
Biology Convocation
Saturday, May 18 at 10 AM in Case Center Gym (285 Babcock Street, Boston, MA 02215)
At this ceremony, graduates will have their names read, walk across the stage, and pose for handshake photography. The ceremony will last approximately 1.5 hours; reception afterward featuring beverages, fruit, and muffins.
Tickets: no tickets are required for the Biology Convocation and there is no limit on the number of guests graduates can bring (though we do expect about five guests per graduate).
Dress: Graduates should wear cap and gown.
Parking: Visit this webpage.
Arriving: Take the stairs on Babcock St. between Sleeper and Rich Halls and curve around left to the building that says “The Roof.” For those guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility, enter at 285 Babcock and take the elevator up to Case Gym.
Seating: Seats are first-come, first-served starting at 9:00 am. Seating for guests with disabilities is available. Wheelchairs are not available for rent on Saturday, so guests should plan to bring their own wheelchair or rent from a local vendor (recommended vendors are listed at the end of this page).

All-University Commencement
All-University Commencement
Sunday, May 19 at 1 PM at Nickerson Field
Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
Tickets: No tickets are required for the All-University Commencement ceremony and there is no limit on how many guests a graduate may have.
Parking: Visit this webpage.
Dress: Graduates should wear cap and gown. Students will need to pass through security screening on Harry Agganis Way before they head to their line-up location and should carry, not wear, cap and gown through the security screening and then don their regalia after they pass through.
Seating: Guest seats are first-come, first-served. It is advised to arrive no later than noon. While general seating is not reserved, there are designated areas for guests with disabilities. Students should arrive at Harry Agganis Way by 12:15 pm. University Marshals will be on hand to aid in seating by college. Students who arrive after 12:15 pm will likely be unable to sit with their specific college and will instead sit with other latecomers.
