The time required for processing visa applications for entry into the
United States often exceeds two months. Please check with the nearest
U.S. Consulate/Embassy regarding visa application processing time and
requirements to ensure that you will receive your U.S. visa in time to
attend the Symposium.
If part of the visa requirement is to have an original letter of
invitation, please contact Caroline Lyman at Boston University by
emailing clyman@bu.edu.
To allow ample time for the letter to be mailed
to you, you will need to contact Mrs. Lyman by January 7, 2005.
Please also be advised that Boston University is closed from December
23, 2004 - January 3, 2005.
