BU-NIH Graduate Partnership Program

Predoctoral applicants may request consideration for admission to the BU-NIH Graduate Partnership Program.  The GPP is a special PhD program between the Boston University Bioinformatics Program and the laboratories of the Intramural Research Program of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). If admitted to the GPP, a student will complete his or her academic requirements for the PhD at Boston University, then select a research director at the NIH and complete the thesis research in Bethesda, MD. The purpose of these fellowships is to stimulate collaboration between BU scientists and NIH intramural investigators, and to provide Bioinformatics students with the opportunity to engage in research in computational laboratories on the NIH campus. NIH is considered to be the premiere biomedical research establishment in the world. Applicants selected as candidates for this program will be invited to interview at both NIH and Boston University.
