15th Annual Mathematics Field Day, October 23, 2007

Since 1992, Boston University has offered area high school students and their teachers the opportunity to come to the BU campus for a full day of mathematics activities. Students learn about current topics in mathematics, including fractals, chaos, and the Mandelbrot and Julia sets. The program includes computer demonstrations, videos, and exquisite graphic images that highlight the beauty and excitement of contemporary mathematics, and introduce some intriguing new ideas.
