The Boston Healing Landscape Project at the Boston University School of Medicine developed these resources to:
- foster cultural competency among healthcare professionals and scholars,
- promote culturally appropriate communication between providers, patients and their families,
- help improve healthcare delivery to underserved religious, ethnic, and racial minority populations, and
- assemble existing resources and contribute original research related to religion, spirituality and culture, biomedicine and traditional healing systems.
