BHLP has gathered images of different aspects of healing in the African Diaspora communities of Boston. We look for visible representations of these communities understand and undertake the healing of body, mind, spirit, identity, and community.

These photographs have been taken by the BHLP Scholars and members of the BHLP teaching team. The slides are part of a comprehensive program in visual ethnographic documentation of understandings of healing in these communities.
