Riché Zamor Is currently the Executive
Director, Professional Resources Division
Latin American Health Institute, Boston,
MA where he oversees the Departments of
Research and Evaluation, Technical Assistance,
Immigration, Education and Training as well
as The Academy of Community Health Practice.
Prior to joining LHI, Dr. Zamor was the
Project Officer for a National program at
Brandeis University, Heller Graduate School,
funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundations
to improve access to healthcare for the
uninsured. Prior to that he was a Community
Health Associate at The Medical Foundation,
where he provided technical assistance to
the Prevention Centers system.
Dr. Zamor is also an Adjunct Professor
at Suffolk University, Sawyer School of
Management where he teaches courses on "Financial
Management for Nonprofits", and an
adjunct professor at Tufts University, Department
of Public Health and Family Medicine, where
he lectures on Race, Ethnicity and Culture
in Health. He is the author of "The
Use of Herbal Remedies in Two Haitian Communities:
Implication for Western Healthcare providers"
published by The Edwin Mellen Press, Lewiston,
