Melicia Charles

Melicia obtained an undergraduate degree in African American Studies at U.C. Berkley, writing her senior thesis on the role of women in Haitian Vodou. Having recently received an MBA, she would like to apply her academic and professional expertise to help provide greater culturally competent healthcare education and training in this country. Her BHLP project explored how various multi-cultural and religious forces play a role in how children of Haitian descent view, define, and process issues of conflict.
