Author Information

The technical program of BARC 2007 includes both oral presentations and poster presentations. Each oral presentation should last 20 minutes, including Q&A. The proceedings will include 2 pages of text and 4 pages of slides for each accepted oral presentation, and 2 pages of text for each accepted poster presentation. Hardcopies of the proceedings will be distributed at the workshop. An electronic copy will be posted on this website after the workshop.

Final versions of the accepted oral presentations and poster presentations must be submitted by January 17, 2006. Poster authors should print their posters and bring to the workshop. The size of the posters can be up to 8'x4'.

Below are the formatting guidelines for the two-page text.

• Submissions should be in PDF format.
• Text should use two column format.
• One-inch margin should be left on all sides,
  with no header, footer, or page number.

• Submissions should be in PDF format.
• Using PowerPoint handout, 4-slides per page, horizontal layout.

  with no header, footer, or page number.

In summary, the authors of an oral presentation should submit three files: a PDF for the text, a PDF for the slides, and a PowerPoint file for the slides. Please keep in mind that each oral presentation will have 20 minutes, including Q&A. The authors of a poster presentation should submit the PDF for the text (submitting the poster itself is unnecessary). Submissions should be sent via email.
