Boston University Marching Percussion Ensemble

Marching Percussion Ensemble is a course that will focus on the technical development of playing percussion in the marching percussion idiom, while using performance opportunities as a means of application. Students will be taught a variety of technical and musical skills, learn a diverse range of music, and will perform at various events on and off campus, ultimately resulting in a high level of achievement for each student, and an elevated performing experience.

Rehearsal Information

  • Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings¬†7:00-9:00 PM during the Spring Semester
    • All rehearsals will be held in the BU Band Room, located at 300 Babcock St. at the corner of Ashford St. in West Campus (entrance is 100-feet down the Ashford St. side of the building).
  • The first rehearsal will be on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016.
  • The last rehearsal will be on Thursday, April 21st, 2016.
  • There will be no rehearsals held during the week of Spring Break (March 5th – March 13th)
