Atlantic Brass Quintet International Summer Seminar

For the second consecutive summer, the Boston University Bands will be hosting the Atlantic Brass Quintet International Summer Seminar.  From July 26 until August 8, Boston University will play host to 45 extremely talented young musicians from all over the world.  For two weeks during the summer, these students will study with some of the most talented musicians on the planet – The Atlantic and Triton Brass Quintets.  While in residence at Boston University, the Atlantic Brass Quintet International Summer Seminar will host a series of student and professional recitals, showcasing the talents of these amazing musicians.

Check-in Information

All students must check-in with the Atlantic Brass Quintet staff by 3pm.  Check-in, as well as all of the ABQ Seminar activities, will take place at the College of Fine Arts.  When you arrive at check-in please bring with you a completed Medical History Form. In addition, if you have not yet paid for the seminar in full, we will be collecting tuition payments at that time.

For those students living on campus, check-in will take place on Sunday morning between 11am and 3pm. Pre-College Students will check in at  Warren Towers. College aged students will check in at The Towers. For a list of typical items needed for your stay on campus please refer to BU Housing’s packing checklist. Not all of these items will be required for your two-week stay but this will give you some idea of what may be needed.  This list also includes items that are prohibited in the residence halls.  Be sure to read the list carefully as possession of one of these items will be grounds for immediate removal from campus housing.
