Alumni Concert Band

Founded by Dr. M. Lee Chrisman, and currently conducted by Edward J Madden, the Boston University Alumni Concert Band (BUACB) was created to serve as the musical ensemble for Boston University Commencement exercises each year. Since its inception, the Alumni Concert Band has flourished and developed into a quality ensemble. The Alumni Concert Band meets several times throughout the year, in addition to Commencement, to rehearse, read, and perform. The band regularly travels throughout the Northeast on an annual summer tour, and this summer tour has twice taken them overseas, to Portugal and Yugoslavia.
