Who does the Pep Band play for?
The Pep Band is the powerful driving force behind the spirit and fan ritual at all home hockey, and men's and women's basketball games.

Where does the Pep Band play?
The band performs at all home basketball and hockey games. In addition to gaining free admission to BU's often sold-out hockey games at the new Agganis Arena, the band also performs at the famed Beanpot tournament, a traditional event between the four big Boston collegiate hockey powers at the TD Bank North Garden, home of the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins. The band has also played for the Celtics, the Bruins and the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer. In addition, the band plays at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

Because the teams are perennial contenders, the band has much opportunity for travel to conference and NCAA tournaments. The band's recent travel includes Jamaica, NY, Storrs, CT, Pittsburgh, PA, Milwaukee, WI, Kansas City, MO, Burlington, VT, St. Paul, MN, Detroit, MI, Cincinnati, OH, Albany, NY, Newark, DE, and many other exciting venues.

How large is the Pep Band?
The Pep Band is well over 100 members strong.

What is the time commitment for the Pep Band?
The time commitment is about one rehearsal per week and approximately one game per week. There is also the opportunity to play at more games if desired.

How do I join the Pep Band?
All you need to do is fill out our registration form, or show up before a rehearsal to sign up! Rehearsals are held in 278 Babcock St. at 6:00 pm on Tuesdays.
