Community Inclusion and Accessibility
Gael Orsmond and Ellen Cohn have been working with museums and performing arts institutions to improve accessibility for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related conditions.
Boston Children’s Museum
Drs. Orsmond and Cohn recruited the help of MSOT student Allison Boris to help write a story book for families to use when planning a visit to the Children’s Museum. This book can be found on the Museum’s Accessibility web page under Printed Materials: http://www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org/visit/accessibility-special-needs.
