Graduate Student

I am a sixth year Ph.D. candidate and NASA FINESST Fellow in the Astronomy Department at BU. In my research, I explore the temperatures of the upper atmosphere of Uranus using stellar occultations. I am advised by Prof. Paul Withers at BU and Dr. Michael Person at MIT. I received my BA in Physics & Astronomy from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.

Outside of research, I am the co-founder of BU Meetup, a university-wide program to help grad students connect: https://www.bu.edu/studentwellbeing/2023/08/28/bu-meetup-returns-for-fall-2023/. Additionally, I co-host the podcast astro[sound]bites (astrosoundbites.com) and contribute to the children’s science magazine Brainspace.
