Space Physics Seminar Series, Thursdays, 4-5pm
Run by the Center for Space Physics. The CSP also conducts a weekly Journal Club (Fridays, 4:00 PM) in room CAS 500. The Journal Club activities offer student presentations and critiques of recent publications, as well as discussions of current national, international, and programmatic trends in the space sciences. The format is informal with a “bring-your-own-lunch” (with coffee and microwave provided) meetings each Monday of the academic year.
Astrophysics Seminar Series, Mondays, 4-5pm
Run by the Institute for Astrophysical Research. The IAR Journal Club (also Fridays at 4:00 PM) is held in CAS 502.
