Boston University offers a Public Open Night every clear Wednesday.
The Museum of Science offers a similar night every clear Friday.
Harvard has a lecture every third Thursday of the month, and observing afterward, weather permitting.
Often times, these places open their doors during special events. Contact them or check on their website if you're not sure.
