Create-A-Culture

Using your imagination, determine the background and themes of a hypothetical culture.  Time may be past, present, or future.  The setting may be underwater or in a rainforest--use your imagination!  You will present your thoughts to your entire team for their consideration.

1.         Background of the Culture

·         Where is this culture located?

·         How do people live?

·         What do the people consider important?

2.         Basic Necessities

·         How do people get food or earn a living?

·         What kind of clothing do they have?

·         What kind of shelter do they have?

3.         Interesting Ideas

·         Think back to the other areas of culture that we have discussed (religion, communication, art, recreation, etc.)

·         Based on the BACKGROUND OF THE CULTURE, what else would be interesting about this culture ?
