BU faculty, educational units, and student organizations engage in Asia-related
outreach activities at Boston University, in the city of Boston, and
in New England.
Many members of our faculty collaborate in educational
activities with Primary Source, a non-profit center for multicultural
and global education (http://www.primarysource.org/), and with the National
Consortium for Teaching about Asia (NCTA).
Moreover, the International Center for East Asian Archaeology
and Cultural History (ICEAACH)
at Boston University sponsors public talks and develops curriculum resources,
working closely with local institutions such as the Boston Children's
Museum, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Public Schools, and other
educational institutions and museums. For more information on these programs,
visit the ICEAACH
Outreach page.
Student organizations, such as BU China Care Fund, sponsor
cultural fairs and fund-raising events for educational and development
activities in Asia. For a list of student organizations, click here.
If you are a school, museum or educational institution, and wish to
engage in Outreach Activities about Asia involving BU faculty and students,
please contact ICEAACH, individual faculty, or the relevant student
organizations listed in this website.
