Professor Menegon will lead us on a tour of the McMullen Museum at Boston College, located just outside Boston. The current special exhibit, entitled “Spiritual Beliefs and Earthly Goods: Portugal, Jesuits, and Japan”, discusses the economic and religious exchange between Portuguese Jesuit missionaries/traders and Japan in the 17th century.
