- Starts: 4:00 pm on Monday, December 3, 2012
- Ends: 6:00 pm on Monday, December 3, 2012
Join ASIA BU and the Center for the Study of Asia for a panel discussion with Professors Michael Corgan, William Grimes, and Robert Ross (Boston College) on the political, economic, and naval security implications of the Senkaku/Diaoyu Island dispute. The Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands, administered by Japan but claimed by China, have long been a sticking point in Sino-Japanese relations. The historical dispute flared up again this year, as major rioting in China has attracted the attention of the international community. Reception to follow. Please RSVP to email@example.com by November 28.
