Assistant Professor 

Lora Sabin is a health and development economist based at Boston University’s Center for International Health and Development, and at the Department of International Health, School of Public Health. She has lived in East Asia for ten years and has taught at universities and academic centers in China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Her research currently focuses on applied economics and behavioral issues related to HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other infectious diseases in Africa and Asia (China, Vietnam, India). Lora teaches health economics and economic evaluation at the School of Public Health, and in a number of international training programs, including the BUSPH-based Vietnam AIDS and Public Policy Program.
