Part-time Lecturer in Japanese
Yuichi Moroi studied at Jiyu Gakuen (Tokyo) and Earlham College (Richmond, IN) before earning his PhD in sociology at Boston University. He began teaching Japanese in this department in 1998. His research interests are cultural, political, and historical sociology; he is the author of the forthcoming University Press of America publication "Ethics of Conviction and Civic Responsibility: Conscientious War Resisters in America During the World Wars."
