Master Lecturer in Turkish

Roberta Micallef recieved a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas in Austin in 1997. She has since taught Turkish Language and Culture courses as well as Women's studies courses at Uppsala University (1997-2000), at the University of Utah (2000-2005) and Boston University since 2005. She has published several articles in Turksish Studies and gender studies. She is also an active member of the Turkish language teaching community. She is among the first group to receive ACTFL training towards Turkish oral proficiency testing and she received a summer grant to work on a Turkish language teaching aide.
