Associate Professor of Operations and Technology
Jay Kim specializes in global operations and supply
chain strategies, and the emerging economies of Eastern European countries
and Asian nations. His current research focuses on the strategic challenges
in supply chain management faced by multinational corporations as they
expand into the emerging economies. Professor Kim's most recent publication
is "Operationalizing Manufacturing Strategy: An Exploratory Study of
Constructs and Linkages," from the International
Journal of Operations and production Management (1996).
