Nazli Kibria is Associate Professor of Sociology. Her publications include: Family Tightrope: The Changing Lives of Vietnamese Americans (1993) and Becoming Asian American: Identities of Second Generation Chinese and Korean Americans (2002). She is currently at work on a book on Islam and the Bangladeshi diaspora, tentatively titled Muslims in Diaspora: Bangladeshis at Home and Abroad.
