Boston University enjoys an extensive family of highly dedicated and enthusiastic alumni in Asia. Currently, we have active alumni organizations located in several countries including China (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong), India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Upcoming Asia Alumni Events

Third Asian Alumni Festival: November 6-7, 2009, Bangkok, Thailand. The Boston University Alumni Association of Thailand (BUAATH) cordially invites Asian alumni to the Third Asian Alumni Fesitval in Bangkok, Thailand. the event will feature a cocktail reception and a gala dinner featuring Thai cultural performances. Recent Asia Alumni Events

Shanghai Alumni and Students Reception: June 19, 2009. Over 150 alumni, parents, and students attended this reception hosted by the Boston University Alumni Association of China (BUAAC). The event was sponsored by BU Trustee Hugo Shong and remarks were given by President Robert Brown. Members of the audience included students participants in the SMG International MBA program.

Korea Alumni Welcome Reception: June 16, 2009. The Boston University Alumni Association of Korea (BUAAK) hosted over 200 alumni, parents, and students for a special dinner and reception with President Robert Brown. In addition to the speech by Dr. Brown and BUAAK current chairman, Mr. YJ Han, representatives from other countries also delivered greetings.
