First International Relations Graduate Conference at Boston University
BUCSA was pleased to co-sponsor the first annual International Relations Graduate Conference, which was held at Boston University from February 18 to 19, 2011. The conference was also sponsored by the Department of International Relations, the Center for International Relations, the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, and the Graduate International Relations Council. The conference featured panels and discussions around the wider topic “Expansion and Contraction of the International Neighborhood”.
Students presenting on topics related to Asia were actively involved in making this conference a successful event. Fu Enping, Chun-Yi Sum, Gao Xiang, Ceren Ergenc, and Luo Rumin (pictured above) were some of those presenting papers on Asia.
