Xuyun Zhu is graduated from the Arts Administration Program at Boston University in January 2019. In 2017, she graduated from Tongji University in Shanghai, China, majoring in advertising.

Xuyun spent a full year learning German and once studied at University of Munich. During her time in Germany, she visited lots of museums and expanded her interest in visual arts administration.

Xuyun also interned with several sites. In the German-owned bank, CommerzBank, the management model of such a different cultural background let her know more possibilities of organization patterns. Her working as an intern planner in McCann-Erickson World Group (Shanghai) is her first time to join brainstorms for so many famous brands such as L’Oreal, which gave her a sense of how arts could work with brands.

Xuyun has immense passion in each of her internships. She expects to combine her previous knowledge and art administration, and thus develop her future career path.

The Arts Administration program is very practical course of study for my goals. It offers numerous opportunities for students with curiosity of exploration to create, to develop, to reconstruct a better cultural management mechanism for the prospective world.
