Samantha Lovewell is helping nonprofits grow generosity as an Account Manager at Virtuous. After serving as a frontline fundraiser and administrator in various roles at organizations including Boston Children’s Chorus, New England Conservatory, and The Winsor School, she decided to break into the SaaS space and take on the opportunity to serve from behind the scenes as a coach to nonprofit customers using Virtuous, a tool Samantha believes in wholeheartedly as it was designed by fundraisers for fundraisers. Virtuous is more than just a CRM- it’s the only responsive fundraising platform designed to help nonprofit teams build better donor relationships and increase impact. She credits the many skill sets developed through the Arts Administration graduate program as well as her experiences rooted in the arts and teaching for leading her to the career she enjoys today. Unironically, the first class Samantha took in the Arts Admin program was “Special Topics in Arts Administration” with Doug DeNatale where the focus was technology in the arts and explored numerous CRM platforms and tech trends in the industry.

Samantha holds a Master of Science in Arts Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management, and a Bachelors of Music (Voice) & minor in Theater Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
