Arts Administration Alumni
Heidi M. Marston
Heidi M. Marston, is already a well-known name around Boston. She has
displayed work at such local venues as The Mills Gallery, the Museum of
Fine Arts, and Bromfield Art Gallery. In addition, Heidi has also exhibited
at the Jose A. Mulazzi Museum and Coronel Doreego Cultural Center in Argentina.
Heidi was the recipient of the MFA’s Traveling Scholars grant, awarded
annually to alumni and graduate students since 1899. Heidi traveled to
Argentina to educate teenagers living in Villa 15 (called the “Hidden
City”) on the edge of Buenos Aires.
Claudia
Castro
Claudia Castro is an accomplished alumna of the Boston University Arts
Administration program. Her work in cultural policy both in the U.S and
Brazil, her strong background in music performance, demonstrate that Claudia
is a fascinating member of our community. She currently works as managing
director of the 17 year- old nonprofit Nora Theatre Company. Most recently
she has been invited by the Ministry of Culture in Brazil to give a workshop
on creativity and innovation in Arts and Business collaborations.
Federica Donna
Federica Donna grew up in Torino, a city in northwestern Italy, and has
been involved in dance since she was a child. She has been in Boston for
two years after moving with her husband when he was offered a postdoctoral
position at MIT in neuroscience. Federica is currently an intern at the
Massachusetts Cultural Council in the Cultural Economic Development Program.
Given her background in public administration, she is interested in the
role the arts can play in creating growth by developing sustainable activities
and new employment opportunities.
Eleanor Greene
Eleanor Greene is nearing the end of her studies in the Arts Administration
program and is completing an internship in the President’s Office
of The Boston Conservatory. As an intern in the President’s office
at Boston Conservatory, Eleanor assists with a wide range of administrative
tasks including financial record keeping, event planning, community liaison
and advocacy work and board development.
