Committees
Each committee will meet once per month at a time and place decided
on by committee members and their chair. To sign up for a committee, simply
fill out the Arts Administration Student Association
Committee sign-up form.
You may also send an e-mail to your chairperson, who will contact you
regarding upcoming meetings and projects.
Career Development Committee
Abigail Rollins
The Career Development Committee seeks to build and maintain a strong relationship with industry leaders. The committee coordinates resume writing and interview skills workshops and informs students of industry-related conferences and events
Student and Alumni Relations Committee
Erik Johnson
The Student and Alumni Relations Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current students and alumni. The committee provides mentorship opportunities for incoming and current students.
Publications Committee
Andrea Hart
The Publications Committee provides support for various Arts Administration publications. This includes maintenance of the AASA website, contributions to the biannual Arts Administration newsletter, and assistance with written materials for the Welcome Packet for incoming students.
Social Committee
Annie Houston
The Social Committee seeks to bring together students and alumni in social settings which maximize personal bonds and build emotional connections to the Arts Administration program, Boston University and the art community citywide. The committee believes that this kind of activity is critical to enriching the lives of Arts Administration students before and after graduation. Meaningful opportunities for interaction, networking, peer counseling, recreation and professional growth are offered through organized weekly group outings to arts-related events and other social gatherings.
International Students Committee
Heidi Zuo
The International Students Committee provides international students with resources to help them upon their arrival in a new culture. The committee strives to create connections among international and American students by providing opportunities for interaction through comparative culture study groups and social events.
