Daniel Ranalli has been an active, exhibiting artist since 1974. His work, largely situated within the medium of photography, often seeks to expand the traditional boundaries of the medium. As with many artists, Ranalli usually works in a serial fashion, with some of the series extending over many years.
It is also worth reminding the viewer that the work included here extends over a nearly 30 year period. Some common connections include a sense of meditative harmony and concerns with the effects of chance.
This website will provide some information about most of his major series.
