Jason E. Grossman

Jason E. Grossman (AR 751 – Commercial Production: The Broadway Model) is a Tony and Olivier award-winning theatrical producer. Current productions include the new West End musical Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder (co-producer on UK tour), the Tony nominated and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away (Broadway, Toronto, North American Tour, West End, and Australia) and the musical Romantics Anonymous which premiered at Shakespeare’s Globe in the fall of 2017, and was produced at Bristol Old Vic in 2020 in anticipation of a North American tour. Recent productions include Shear Madness and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (winner of the 2013 Tony, Drama Desk, NY Drama Critics, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Play), as well as Nevermore — The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe (nominated for three 2015 Lortel Awards including Outstanding Musical). Jason’s other producing credits include the Broadway and National Tour engagements of Peter and the Starcatcher (winner of 5 Tony Awards) and The Pee-wee Herman Show, and the Olivier Award-nominated West End production of Lend Me A Tenor The Musical, a musical comedy based on the international hit play by Ken Ludwig.

Jason has worked for Scott Sanders Productions (The Color Purple, and Disney film The Odd Life of Timothy Green).  Prior to that, he was with Eric Krebs Productions as the Coordinating Producer of Laughing Liberally (Off-Broadway, Los Angeles, Boston and Las Vegas) and Will Durst: The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing (New World Stages, NYC).

Jason teaches Commercial Producing at Boston University, and previously has taught at Emerson College and New York Institute of Technology (Arts Leadership in Entertainment program) and has been a guest speaker for Brooklyn College (Graduate Performing Arts Management program), University of Michigan (Department of Theatre & Drama) and Worcester State University. He is a graduate of Emerson College and serves on the alumni board.
