A well-regarded filmmaker in Australia, Noyce emigrated to the US to make both Hollywood action films (Patriot Games) and art movies (The Quiet American). He also produced and directed numerous TV series (Revenge, Crisis, The Resident). At BU, Noyce will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his thriller set on the high seas, Dead Calm, a pioneering work of “neo-noir” starring a young, vibrant Nicole Kidman.
