“Clean Water 6K” A race to fight the global water crisis Saturday, August 16th, 2014, 9:30 am. to 12 pm Chestnut Hill Reservoir Trail | Boston, MA Event Partners: Greens Streets Initiative, Zone 5 Fitness BOSTON, MA (Aug 16th, 2014) BeCause Water, a Boston-based movement for water sustainability, is hosting a “Clean Water 6K,” at the Chestnut Hill Reservoir Trail, on August 16, 2014 from 9:30 am to 12:00 am. The event will consist of a 6 Kilometer race beginning at 9:30 a.m. After the race, participants are invited to the Waterworks Museum to learn how they can become more water sustainable at their school, business, or household. Included in the registration, participants will be able to tour the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum (across street) to learn about the history of Boston's water system as it relates to Social History, Public Health, Engineering, and Architecture.
