New Repertory Theatre and Boston Center for American Performance present the Next Rep World Premiere of
Walt McGough's PATTERN OF LIFE, directed by Bridget Kathleen O’Leary, June 14-29. The mistaken death of a young boy links two men thousands of miles apart. The first, a drone pilot, tries to fight through a haze of guilt and anxiety, and find something human to hold on to. The second, a Pakistani villager, struggles to comprehend the tragedy, and put a face on a faceless enemy. A series of shared dreams lets them begin to see one another, and explore questions of revenge, justice and connection in a time of perpetual warfare.
Walt McGough is a Boston-based playwright (by way of Pittsburgh and Chicago), and a current Playwriting Fellow at the Huntington Theatre Company. Tickets: $30 General Admission | $15 CFA Membership and New Repertory Theatre Subscribers. Box Office: 617-933-8600
