  1. Mr. Cashman is a facilitator for Old School corporations — no more. I’m not sure — if we live in a “democracy” — why a few wealthy individuals still get to make major infrastructure decisions for the majority — especially now, with a majority in this nation that is enormous! OF COURSE we all want renewable energy, but these “pioneers” (I remember Bostonia pushing another alumnus Cape Wind promoter) tried to build a wind farm in a viewshed of the Cape and Islands that is to Massachusetts residents their Grand Canyon. If they possess such forethought, how come they cannot see twenty years down the road when industrial wind farms will be yanked down because tidal energy, personal wind or sun powered generators, or some cleaner, less impactful renewable resource will have made them obsolete? These men are just profiteers, and I can almost see on wind turbines the same logos and names that represent the investors in BP, Shell, and Exxon. Its all price-fixed energy.

Enjoy your castle, Mr. Cashman — perhaps in the future you can invest in the enormous number of working poor in this country, but I guess that would make ME the real dreamer.
